Kandy SC-ready-for the forthcoming rugby season.

Kandy SC, defending league and knockout champions, will commence training this week with the idea of fielding a match winning side for the forthcoming rugby season.
Some of the seniors will bid good bye and some fresh prospects are due to join the club.
Once again South African born Johan Taylor, who guided the club and the Sri Lanka team last season well, will be there in time to take over coaching. He also coached Royal College and coached the country twice to win Asian tournaments.
As a qualified coach he has groomed last year’s Kandy SC skipper Sean Wijesinghe as a coach, and it will be Sean, who is following Johan’s footsteps, who will be helping in coaching.
Former captain and the present Sri Lanka captain Fazil Marija, as this writer highlighted, will lead the side.
Fazil who is rated as the best fly half in Asia is sure to bring glory as a leader and he will be backed by a good set of ruggerites.
