Three teams from Pakistan, Dubai and Qatar will participate at the 2nd Rugby Rumble – Old Boys’ Tag Rugby 7s Festival, that is expected to kick off 25 and 26 July at Longden Place. Each participating team could register 12 players (8 Males and 4 Females) in their squad.
All teams should consist of seven players, five males and two females on the field at any given time. The 5 males should be over 20 years on 1 July 2015 and the two female players over 21 years on 1 July 2015.
Players who represented club’s or school’s during the 2015 season in league, knockout or 7s will not be eligible to participate in the tournament.
The organizers will charge an Entry Fee of Rs.7, 500/= per team. The player eligibility for the tournament will feature two segments. It is confined to players over 20 years of age and players over 40. This is a sevens competition and the above rule, 7 players always on field of the teams playing, applies.
In order to participate in the Rugby Rumble Old Boys’ Tag Rugby 7s Tournament teams must provide proof that their players are eligible to compete in the section for which they are entered. Therefore, a copy of the NIC will be required as proof of age. Proof of player eligibility will be required when registering players prior to each match during the competition.
