The Young Men’s Sports Club of Dharga Town, Beruwala emerged champions once again in their 2014 Beruwala Football League knockout championship football tournament which was held at Kalutara Vernon U Fernando Football Stadium on June 10, 2015.

The Young Men’s Sports Club, Dharga Town, Beruwala beat Great Star Sports Club Beruwala by four goals to two in a penalty shoot out in the final and won the 2014, Beruwala Football League Knockout Championship Trophy too.

The Young Men’s Sports Club team was led by M M Ashran and the Great Star Sports Club team was captained by M N M Ishak. The President of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka Anura De Silva was the Chief Guest at the final and awarded the certificates and the trophies to the winners.

The former Western Provincial Council Member and Engineer Amjad and the former Kalutara Urban Council Vice Chairman Ameer Nazeer were also present.
