“The National Selectors have decided to re appoint all-rounder Angelo Mathews as the captain of the Sri Lanka national team for the Test and ODI formats. His appointment is to commence from upcoming tour of Pakistan till the conclusion of Sri Lanka’s tour to England next year.”

“Lasith Malinga will be entrusted with the leadership of the Sri Lanka National Team for the Twenty 20 format with immediate effect till the conclusion of Sri Lanka’s title defence at the ICC World Twenty 20Â to be played in India in 2016,” SLC said in a release
