The swimming team of South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM) recently organised their inaugural inter university swimming meet ‘flip turn 2015′ at the Thurstan college swimming pool complex with the participation of both government and privet universities namely – University of Moratuwa (UoM) University of Jayawardhanapura and National School of Business Management (NSBM) Srilanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT)

Gracing the occasion as the chief guest was Dr . Neville Fernando – chairman of SAITM and guests of honor were prof. Neville Perera, Dr. Usha Samarasinghe .

The event featured individual and relay swimming events Followed by interesting and unique non competitive fun water events which were enjoyed by all.

NSBM winning both men’s and women’s categories emerged overall champions. SAITM and SLIIT won second and third places respectively .
