The 800m duo – the girls from Sooriyawewa – Nimali Liyanarachchi and Gayanthika Abeyratne, will be seen in action in their heats in the morning at 7:50 a.m. Sri Lanka time. Prior to that sprinter Suranjaya de Silva will be in action in the 200m men’s heat, while men’s 4X400m relay team too can be seen in action in the morning at 8:30 a.m.
Men’s javelin thrower, Waruna Lakshan will compete in his final at 2:50 p.m.
