Fast bowling coach Champaka Ramanayaka will join with Sri Lanka cricket after May 13th.
Ramanayake will fill the shoes of Chaminda Vaas who resigned from the post and according to sources close to SLC the announcement of Ramanayake’s appointment will be done after the Interim committee meeting on 13th May.

Ramanayake will fill the shoes of Chaminda Vaas who resigned from the post and according to sources close to SLC the announcement of Ramanayake’s appointment will be done after the Interim committee meeting on 13th May.
Ramanayake had worked as Sri Lanka fast bowling coach from 2001 to 2008 before he joined with Bangladesh national team for the same position. Ramanayake again took the Sri Lanka fast bowling position in 2010 and worked till 2013, before Vaas took over as Ramanayake stepped down.
