Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has hired Jonty Rhodes for a brief coaching stint prior to the national team’s home series against Pakistan during the coming two months. Rhodes arrived in the island last night just after his stint with the Mumbai Indians, the champions of the 2015 Edition of Indian Premier League.

“Jonty Rhodes the former South African great will arrive today (26) in Sri Lanka on a short stint for 10 days as a fielding coach. Jonty is here ahead of the home series against Pakistan which starts next month,” SLC said in a release.

“Jonty Rhodes will educate the coaches apart from the national cricketers and other national, development and junior teams on the latest techniques of fielding,” SLC said
