Colombo District Under-21 Zonal Tournament-Gladiators beat Eagles

Colombo Gladiators beat Colombo Eagles by 2 wickets in the Colombo District Under 21 Zonal Cricket Tournament match at Braybrooke Place recently.

Colombo Vikings earned major honours against Colombo Hawks in the other match played at BRC recently.Vishad Randika (Colombo Vikings) scored 90 runs. Thilan Nimesh (Colombo Eagles) took 7 wickets for 53 runs in an inning against Colombo Gladiators. He also scored 55 runs.
This tournament is conducted by the Colombo District Cricket Association.
Sammu Ashan (Gladiators) showed his capabilities as an all rounder by his performance.
Four teams (Colombo Gladiators, Colombo Eagles, Colombo Vikings and Colombo Hawks) participated in this league tournament.
