Schools cricket champions rewarded 2015….
Sri Lanka Cricket has decided to give financial assitance to Schools which have emerged champions and runners-up in the 2014/2015 inter-schools cricket tournament. Speaking at the event SLC Chairman Sidath Wettimuny stated that “It is paramount that SLC recognize Schools that win Championships during a cricket season and SLC has decided to extend financial assistance by way of grants to best performing schools in the all Island category on merit basis”. Chairman of SLC Mr. Sidath Wettimuny and Vice Chairman Kushil Gunasekara gave away the awards to the winners.
