Kaushal Silva scored an unbeaten 83 guiding Sri Lanka Board President’s XI reach 200 for 6 in their second inning before the match was called off as a draw in the three day practice game against Indians played at R. Premadasa stadium yesterday.

Both Pujara and Rahul didn’t come out to bat yesterday, as the Indian skipper decided to give batting practice to his entire bowling line up, except Ishant Sharma who claimed a five wickets haul.
In reply Sri Lanka Test cricket vice captain, Lahiru Thirimanne, once again failed as he was dismissed by Harbajan Singh for 18 to follow his first inning score of 5. Upul Tharanga scored a fine half century (52), while Silva batted through 183 deliveries adding just 6 fours to his innings.
