Rukmalgama CC getting ready..

Rukmalgama Cricket Club in preparation for the forth coming CDCA Division III Tournament 2016, played two practice matches and won both games quite comfortably.

In their first match at Mt. Mary, Rukmalgama CC beat New Blues SC by a massive margin of 167 runs.
RCC batting first propelled by 03 half centuries via Manoj Jayaweera (77), Migara Wijesiri (51) and Amila Mendis (55) amassed 310 for 9 in 50 overs.

New Blues, despite two fighting knocks by P. Pavitharan (35) and M. Afdhal (55) managed only 143 in 25.1 overs, having no answer to RCC left arm leg spinner, Janitha Rupasena, who finished with impressive figures of 8.1-2-30-5.

RCC in their next match against Sri Lanka Association of Architects at Poragedera, Padukka, registered a fine 49 runs win.
RCC batting first made 192 for 9 in 30-Overs with useful contributions coming from Kaushal Perera (21), Manoj Jayaweera (27), D. Vaz (25) and Adhil Hafiz (20).

RCC bowlers, Shyamal Perera (2 for 25), Janitha Rupasena (2 for 16), D. Vaz (2 for 28) and V. Logendra (2 for 20) bowled intelligently to restrict the Architects to 143 in 29.4 overs
