Prima Champions Cup U15 Inter Provincial final today

Unbeaten Western Province South Outer will meet Western Province Central in the final of the Prima Champions Cup under 15 inter-provincial cricket tournament today and tomorrow.

WP South Outer will be led by Kamil Mishara and WP Central by Mihiranga Wickramage.

WP South Outer played in Group ‘B’ and won all their five matches against WP South, Southern, Eastern, North Central and Central in the first round. They advanced to the semi-final as champions of Group ‘B’. In the semi-finals they beat WP North Outer by 67 runs at the NCC.

WP Central played in Group ‘A’ and won four out of five matches against WP North, North Western, Uva and Northern and lost to WP North Outer. They advanced to the semi-final as champion of Group ‘A’ and in the semi-final beat defending champion Southern Province by 69 runs at the CCC.

The tournament is conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) in collaboration with Prima Group. Twelve provincial teams participated.
