Prince of Wales, Royal, Colombo advance to semi-finals

Defending champions Prince of Wales College ‘A’ Moratuwa and Royal College ‘A’ Colombo advanced to the semi-finals of the Singer Trophy Under 13 division 1 inter-schools cricket tournament yesterday.

Prince of Wales won according to points against St. Anthony’s College ‘A’ Katugastota at Katugastota and Royal ‘A’ also recorded a similar win against De Mazenod College ‘A’ Kandana at Reid Avenue in their quarterfinal matches.

Sineth Jayawardhane of Royal ‘A’ scored his third century in the tournament scoring an unbeaten 104 off 195 balls with 15 fours and a six. Prince of Wales ‘A’ will meet Royal ‘A’ in the semi-finals next week.
